NUTN Third Annual Institute on Quality Standards

At the Third Annual Institute on Quality Standards at the NUTN 2006 annual meeting, the approximately 25 workshop participants were asked to rank the five measures they deemed most important when reporting to their institution’s administration about the quality of their distance learning program.  Click here to view the survey.  Responses were weighted so that an answer of 1 (most important) received a weight of 5, an answer of 2 received a weight of 4, and so on with an answer of 5 receiving a weight of 1. 

The distance learning administrators in attendance indicated that student learning outcomes, student satisfaction and course enrollment and/or headcount were the three most critical measures they would want to use to demonstrate the quality of their distance learning programs, followed by retention, revenue and course completion rates.
